Meet Cass (She/They)
When attending college as an undergraduate presidential scholor (a fairly prestigious designation), I was asked in front of the college president “What do you think helped you earn this merit?” My response? “Being quirky.” The answer was met with some confusion and a few chuckles. I explained “By being different, I am able to interact with the world in ways that others may not even think of.”
Growing up as neurodivergent and queer, I have learned to love being different. It allows me to look at the world through a lens that finds beauty in unlikely places.
I work as a part time mental health professional providing outpatient therapy to a wide array of clients. In my free time, art has become my favorite form of self-care. It is my hope that I can spread some whimsy by sharing my creations with others.
